Recover Edits You Forgot to Save
✍️ Pick Up Unsaved Edits the Next Time You Open the Editor
Closed the browser while typing a plan? Switched to another app before saving and came back to find everything gone? To prevent that, the editor now keeps a draft of what you type on your device. Even if you leave without saving, you can continue where you left off the next time you open the same itinerary's edit page.
What You Can Do
- Recover edits you forgot to save - The next time you open the editor, you'll see "You have unsaved edits" and can pick up where you left off with "Restore"
- Everything comes back: title, plans, and packing list - Days you added and the day you were viewing are restored exactly as you left them
- "Go to AI mode" saves first - If you have unsaved edits when you press "Go to AI mode", they're saved automatically so the AI works from your latest content
How to Use
- Edit as usual (drafts are kept automatically, nothing to do)
- If you left without saving, open the same itinerary's edit page again
- Choose "Restore" in the prompt (or "Discard" if you don't need the draft)
- Review the content and press "Save"
Good to Know
- A draft is not a save. To apply changes to the itinerary, press "Save" as before
- Drafts are kept only in the browser on the device you used. They don't carry over to other devices or browsers
- Drafts are deleted automatically after 7 days
- If someone saves the itinerary from another device or as a co-editor after your draft was made, the draft is discarded instead of restored and the latest saved version is shown
