Terms of Service

Please review the terms of service for using Shiori Share

This is a reference translation for convenience. The Japanese version is the official and legally binding document.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the rights and obligations between users and the operator of Shiori Share (the "Service"). By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The Service provides the following features:

Creation and editing of travel/event itineraries
Sharing functionality for created itineraries
Collaborative editing with password protection
Temporary storage of itinerary data
Account registration for saving created itineraries (optional; one itinerary can only be linked to one account)

Article 3 (Eligibility)

The Service is available to anyone regardless of age or nationality. However, minors must obtain consent from their guardians before use.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
Acts related to criminal activities
Acts that infringe on the rights of other users or third parties
Registration or posting of false information
Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
Mass access using automated tools
Acts to circumvent rate limits
Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Service operator

Article 5 (Usage Limitations)

The Service has the following limitations for stable operation:

Itinerary creation: Up to 3 times per 15 minutes
Plan updates: Up to 20 times per 15 minutes
Plans per day: Maximum of 10
Character limits for each field

When limits are reached, you can resume using the service after a waiting period.

Article 6 (Data Storage and Deletion)

Itinerary data created in the Service will be automatically deleted one year after creation. We recommend that users back up important data themselves.

🔑 About Edit Passwords

For itineraries linked to your account, you can reset the password from My Page. For itineraries created without an account, passwords cannot be reissued or recovered if forgotten. Passwords are encrypted server-side, and even the operator cannot view them. Please keep your password in a safe place and be careful not to forget it.

⚠️ Important Notice

Do not enter the following personal information in your itinerary:

• Names, addresses, phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Credit card information, bank account information
• Passport numbers, driver's license numbers
• Other confidential information or personally identifiable information

Itineraries may be shared with others. To prevent personal information leaks, only include general information such as restaurant names and tourist attraction names.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

The Service operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service. Furthermore, the Service operator does not guarantee the continuity, stability, or completeness of the Service.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

The Service operator may change these Terms as necessary. The amended Terms shall become effective when posted on the Service.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and any disputes concerning these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Service operator.
